Bryan Meredith, 23, of Scotch Plains, New Jersey, began his youth career playing for Scotch Plains- Fanwood High School. In four years, Bryan accumulated 47 shutouts, a high school record. He also received numerous awards making him renowned as one of the best high school goalkeepers in the state. He became the starting goalie at Monmouth University his sophomore year in 2008, ultimately being named to the NSCAA/Adidas North Atlantic Region First Team in 2009. The Seattle Sounders drafted Bryan in 2011; he made twelve starts in his first year at the club. After his time with the Sounders, Meredith signed with Swedish club IK Brage on a two-year deal.
